On this Sunday, I drove to our zoo to visit the Snow Leopards, and being told the
parking lot was full, drove down Calle PuertaVallarta and found a place ahead of
other parked cars next to the fence, bordering the RR tracks. The time was 9:30am.
Before locking and leaving, I looked carefully for any prohibiting parking and
found none. I returned to my car at 12:30pm and saw that the fence was topped with
carefully placed yellow wooden no parking signs next to each parked car with
tickets under their wipers. My ticket is for $53.00 section 10.44.020mc No Parking
Sign. The ticket was given at 10:32am. The officer, Nelson, badge number 2386 must
have worked in tandem with the sign department to work the scam. The only way to
defend myself was to have taken a photo of my car and fence, before and after, but
who would have thunk!
