Sierra Club Holiday Party

Saturday 8 December was our annual Sierra Club Holiday Party at Jefferson Hall of the Unitarian Society.
As people arrived and while they were eating, a slide show of my photos of Sierra Club hikes in recent years looped.
The formal program included a talk by Don Fuhrer on prospects for restoring Hetch Hetchy, which was flooded to provide a reservoir for the city of San Francisco, far away. He also showed a video on the Giant Sequoias and the current work to restore Mariposa Grove in Yosemite.
