Morning spider webs show a lovely collection of water drops. Why do the droops
collect on the spider web but not on the surrounding grass?

Cause the web is sticky! The greenery lets the water run down to the dirt to wet the roots.

perhaps that is condensation originating from the vegetation upwards to the web?

For the early birds in the land of daycare. We would gather our spray bottles and head out to the playground, near by brush and trees is where the most beautiful designs were found. We sprayed the spiders webs and magically they came alive. Right before the sun would move away from the webs the sun would shine a rainbow across the webs as if to say good morning back. The sun would move so quick in the morning, we only had a few moments of discovery. The children loved it.
