A subscriber is reporting that a CR-V has rear ended an orange Caltrans truck on the Northbound 101
hghway by Las Positas.

Was the Caltrans truck underway or stationary on the side of the highway? It was awfully foggy this morning making driving more challenging than usual.

Just a reminder: Move over law states that you must move over a lane or slow to 45 mph when passing emergency and caltrans vehicles, unless separated by a k rail or such. This also requires the driver not to collide with said vehicles....Hope the impact device worked and no one was hurt.
