December 2, 2012 - Parading Hats
Well, it's December. When did that happen?! It seems as if time flies right after Halloween and suddenly it's another year. We're not complaining here at the Edhat Headquarters, but instead taking in the massive amounts of cookies and treats that suddenly seem to appear. Speaking of the holiday spirit, did you attend the Holiday Parade on State Street? It was cold but the Staff braved the weather to diligently count Santa Hats. Check out the story below to see if you won an Edhat t-shirt.
It's been a busy weekend and we've got a lot going on. Our Dog of the Week is Fiona, the dog with plaintive eyes and our Cat(s) of the Week are Butchie and Newman, the Flame Point Siamese rescues. Edhat's Non-profit of the Week is the Freedom to Choose Foundation who provide free monthly meetings and the Urban Hikers explored "Spanishtown", the most historic part of Montecito. Marc Liberts rates more wine and David Powdrell takes a closer look at local quonset huts.
