Volunteer on Thanksgiving

I'm looking for ideas of where to volunteer on Thanksgiving - Solvang to SB area.
Where are they always short on help?

Normally around Thanksgiving charities are overwhelmed with volunteers, like the Salvation Army and the Rescue Mission.
It is the rest of the year when they need help...

Noozhawk has addresses for opportunities to help. It's not clear that the Opportunity S. Kitchen will be needing servers on Thanksgiving; anyone know?

I don't understand why the Nanny took down that message about the butler's day off! It's as funny as the post you DID allow from the poster who wanted their lawn mowed???? What gives? Maybe the Nanny needs to take a day with the Butler?
