November 18, 2012 - Pickled Pepper

The Urban Hikers always find such fascinating items on their hikes around town, just like this pepper. Or is it a pickle? We're not sure but either way it looks very excited to see the Urban Hikers.

The weather hasn't been too kind to us these past few days, rain has drenched every inch of town and created more potholes than we had before. Speaking of potholes, what is up with the Castillo Exit underpass? An Edhat staffer swears that it was paved over a few months ago and it's already back to the usual bumpy road we all dread. With that in mind, be careful on the roads Edhatters. Roger has been reporting traffic accidents left and right so please be safe out there.

Rain can sometimes bring a person down since we're cooped up in the house all day, but Edhat is here to cheer you up with a whimsical quote. "And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow." - Gilbert K. Chesterton

The Dog of the Week is Shasta, the miniature American Eskimo and the Cat of the Week is Angela, super cuddle bug. Marc Liberts takes time to dream on United Airlines Dreamliner while the Urban Hikers expand to Montecito. Our resident street artist talks about another local staple, Wallace Piatt, and Lauren rocked out to some sweet tunes at the New Noise Music Festival.
