November 10, 2012 - Fighting Fires
Our local firefighters were quick on the scene to save this family's home. The fantastic and quick-footed Urban Hikers were ready with cameras in hand

An 18-year-old Camarillo Heights resident was arrested Thursday for arson and animal cruelty after
investigators determined he was responsible for deliberately setting fire to a dog on Oct. 27, 2012. [mug]
Attorneys delivered their opening statements Wednesday morning in the Adrian Robles homicide trial, in
which Robles is accused of fatally stabbing 44-year-old Mesa resident Robert Burke Simpson.
The City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that the beach access
steps at Mesa Lane re-opens to the public today,

60 Foot Children's Choir Benefit
- All proceeds will be donated to Sixty Feet, Inc. to improve the lives of
more than a thousand children, ages 2 – 18, living in prisons across
Uganda. Sixty Foot Children's Choir = 36 local young singers
ages 10 - 18, representing seventeen different local schools as well as
the local homeschooling community.
