I so love Guadalupe!! Great for you !!! 337 - Someday maybe you could walk around and not just drive through on your way to Black Lake? There are some very substantial people there as well as unrecorded history that will surprise you! Have lunch, order of the menu...okay that's just tooo crazy. One step at a time. Or you could just stay the .......

@349 Addendum: What I mean is, of "substantial" influence or importance reads better. Unless you mean they are not spirits and have substance.

I think Frances will be a great representative for Guadalupe. She is knowledgeable and a very classy woman. Good luck, Frances. And thanks for taking this on.

Thank you all for your comments. Do stop by on your way up the coast. Guadalupe has many great things to offer and we have the lowest crime rate in SB County (a little known fact) and affordable housing only 4 miles from the beach. We have fine Mexican food and are home to the Dunes Center and the Guadalupe Cultural Arts and Education Center at the north end of HWY 1 (Guadalupe Street). Both centers recently traded properties and their museum space has been significantly upgraded and well worth the time to stop.
