The stand off has ended. The 43 year old suicidal Oxnard man was taken into custody by the Santa Barbara Sheriff's SWAT team after shock grenades and non- lethal rounds where used on him. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and observation. It appeared that he was uninjured.

The San Ysidro offramp and adjacent roads should reopen shortly.
