November 7, 2012 - Phew, That Was Close!
Right before noon on Election Tuesday, Roger the Scanner Guy was the first to break the story of the Cold Fire. Fire officials confirmed that it was an
aggressive fire that started to spread quickly, resulting in mandatory evacuation alerts for residents north of Mountain Drive and near the Cold Springs trail
head. Thankfully our firefighters and emergency personnel acted quickly and were able to lift ALL evacuation orders within three hours! It surely was a close
one and the Edhat staff was on the edge of their seats reading Roger's minute by minute report. Now bring on some rain please!
