A map would be helpful. Does anyone know of one in existence?

Yes, but I am not allowed to post a URL here. Google coldspringeasttrailmap and select the one in bold letters that says, "Cold Spring East Trail Map." The fire looks to be on the trail (purple line) between the junction with Hot Springs and the point north of that on the trail near the letter 'C' in Cold Spring. I hope that helps.
Looks like they are quickly getting it under control.
