This past weekend the Lunacy Festival took place at the Live Oak Campground. It was a spinoff event of
Burning Man in our own back yard! Brought to us by many of the same people who brought us the
Lucidity Festival in the spring.
From Friday through Sunday people came from far and wide for art, music, performances, workshops
and an ambiance of loving, creativity and free spirit.
There were art cars from Burning Man and our own Fishbon and Solstice art innovators did projects and
workshops along with others. There were fewer workshops than at the Lucidity Festival, but one
workshop was a guided meditation for lucid dreaming practice.
It was hot during the day, and people mostly rested. But as it cooled off and got dark things got lively.
Some of the most interesting art involved innovative use of lasers, projectors and other light effects that
blossomed at night.
Here are my photos of some of the festivities!
