Update: On 10-30-12 at about 2000 hrs Lopez was taken into custody by the Santa Barbara Police Department and subsequently booked into Santa Barbara County Jail on his outstanding warrants and new charges of drug possession.

Narrative: The Ventura Police Department in conjunction with the FBI has identified the "Wigout Bandit". The Wigout Bandit is responsible for three robberies within the City of Ventura and may be linked to several other violent crimes through out the city.

The first robbery occurred on 8/1/12 at the US Bank on Victoria Av, the second robbery took place on 8/23/12 at the Chase Bank on Victoria Av, and the third robbery took place on 9/28/12 at RaboBank on Mills Rd.

The Ventura Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating Lopez. He is known to frequent hotels and motels in Ventura, Oxnard, and the Santa Barbara area and is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows the whereabouts of lopez they are urged to contact the Ventura Police Department, FBI, or crime stoppers.

Lopez has a felony warrant for Bank Robbery and a felony Post Release Offender warrant.
