No idea, but you can find out when and where an accused criminal's case will be heard on the SB County Court system website.

Following up on the question and then the answer of 508, I found there was an "Arraignment on Complaint" on 10/25.

KEYT said it is scheduled for Monday, but she doesn't have to attend.

Yep she doesn't have to attend but us poor taxpayers have to attend when we get into trouble every erection that comes along I'm sorry I voted.

6573... welcome to America where the need to tear down folks who've become celebrities in some form or other is insatiable. It just makes us feel better about ourselves when we can badmouth and gossip about someone going through a rough patch or just being human.

i love the armchair legal beagles who say things like "everyone else has to attend" court, when in fact the same laws do apply...its just that "everyone" doesn't have a dedicated edhat anonymous blog posting when they go to court [or don't go to court or dont go to jail or whatever the case may be]

553 - if you want to know what she looks like, just google her name. Why does everyone love the mug shots? Really, let the woman deal with her demons on her own.

She's an attorney, a two-term Councilperson, came within about 200 votes of being on the Council again in last year's elections; has acted as a labor union consultant for municipal employees; was endorsed by the police in 2009 and in 2011, Eric Beecher, president of the SB Police Officers Association, strongly supported her, saying, "We need to get Iya back." She's simply not any Jane Doe with a charged DUI: her arrest was front page. Whether she is seen to get preferential treatment (not being booked in the jail, for instance, as other charged DUI's) is of distinct public interest and concern. I am thinking that, if anything, her high public profile will weigh against her and that isn't right, either, but, whatever, public servants (and would-be public servants) are held to higher standards and have perhaps lower standards of privacy.
