I'd be surprised if there was someone in Santa Barbara that didn't have criminals as neighbors..

criminals are people too....They have bad judgement when they use drugs and act after they are high. Its just a bad cycle until they help themselves or wake up!

@020 Really...so we should just except the "acting bad" , stealing, dealing, using drugs, robbing and whatever else is in their "bad cycle"? I guess PERSONAL RESPONSIBILTY doesn't apply huh? Well, if their bad cycle of bad judgement means they EVER come into MY house, it will be the end of any "cycles" in their future...

We've got some criminally loud and obnoxious neighbors. Too bad the police can't haul them off to the pokey. We could use a decade or so of peace and quiet.

The time to be concerned is when the police cars are wandering the neighbourhood flashing lights into your front and back yard looking for the bad guys not when they have them in custody. Just sayin'.

I used to "act bad" until i got caught and sent to prison for 4 years. Been out for 6 years now and never have broken the law since, own 2 houses here in SB, got married and have 2 beautiful children. I was a criminal that went through a bad cycle and am a person that's doing better than most in this town.... so now what 032?

I'm a homeowner/felon too! I made good and have respect from all who know me. It was drugs and nothing else. Maybe I'm a hypocrite but I despise the criminal element now but am happy to give anyone a second chance. I was hard on myself so I'm hard on those who need it. At first I didn't like 032's comment but I never broke into houses and would feel the same way if someone broke into mine.

I'll trade you your criminal neighbors for the girl who lives next door to me and has loud sex at all hours of the night.

I know this cycle business. I'm on the cusp of going bad again.
