Yesterday while pruning a jasmine bush in my yard I accidentally invaded on a spider's home. I have seen this same spider for about the last 2 years now in different areas of my back yard. I consider him my little buddy. I am certain it is the same one, and had no idea they lived this long. I believe it is a larger type of jumping spider. I love that he had made his home inside this Christmas decoration home that I had stuck in the bush and forgot about. I relocated him into another area that I felt he would be safe and happy. The first picture is from over a year ago, and the others are from yesterday.
