If you think you heard a gunshot, you should call the police. A ton of things sound like gunshots and 90% of the time it won't be one, but when it is, they use the reports that come in to narrow down the location. They need that information, don't be a victim of the bystander effect!!

#593, when you use the word "confirmed" please identify how you confirmed it. Who did you ask? Where did you look? Was it your car that backfired? How do you know it was a backfire unless you were there, or talked to somebody who was? Without this information, it is very hard to take your comments seriously.
