Scanner Reports 10-22-12
updated: Oct 22, 2012, 7:00 AM

By Roger the Scanner Guy

Happy Monday from all the Voices in my Head to you and all of yours. When I was a 12-stepper many moons ago they had this saying that went something like this, "If the Elevator is broken you have to take the Steps." It's about working the steps of whichever 12-Step group you are a part of. So I hear this call on Sunday while I'm dying without my internet at the Fall Down Hotel. Medical Emergency: "At the Fall Down Hotel for someone who fell down the steps, the Elevator is broken someone fell down the steps and broke their arm." I must be hitting bottom or something because my internet is gone and it has been for hours. What is the purpose of life? Who is the one and only DOG? "Why the internet of course my child."

LIFE WITHOUT THE INTERNET IS HELL!

So the otter day I went to the grocery store bought a beautiful chicken. On Saturday I put it on a bed of onions and stuck it in the crock pot. I turned on the crock pot and went to work 4 or 5 hours later I came back in lifted the lid of the crock pot to get a whiff of wonderful Roast Chicken, it wasn't cooked. I realized I forgot to plug in the crock pot. I wanted to go get a bunch of tattoos on my face go out and knock the tar out of someone.

One of the reasons I like having the idiot box up and running is to watch community TV. I don't watch it all the time like an idiot but once in a while is nice I was watching the City council meeting one day and I heard a homeless member of the community say that he cut a Bird of Paradise, plant on someone's property. He was arrested and prodded thru this Justice business and was sentenced to 3 years in prison but someone got him out after 3 months. Wow, He doesn't seem to be a danger to the community this fella I don't know him personally but have seen him on several You Tube videos he is an artist, a misunderstood one obviously.

Ernie Wants Bathrooms Downtown and he says he isn't going to give up. I was watching Ernie Soloman Saturday night I don't know if it was a rerun or his regular show. I don't know how long Bob Hanson tried to get bathrooms downtown (Public Restrooms) But it was many years. I guess city employees don't have a problem cleaning up Human Waste or there might be more public restrooms available to the public downtown. It's too bad there is SNOT a phone number for us to call when we (The Public) finds a pile of manure on the ground so they can send a city worker out to clean it up. Human Scrap is Hazardous waste and people can get sick from it. I don't know why the city avoids this issue of Public Restrooms? Ernie also said something about his wife being involved in a non-injury traffic accident where the police would not respond because it was a non-injury accident. I don't know when his wife's accident was but I do hear the police go out on non-injury auto accident calls. It is usually when there is a 415 involved argument or fight. But I have also heard them respond to just regular non-injury fender benders with no injuries involved. I've heard some lately and wonder if that is a result of his experience?
