The Center for Global Dialogue held a free public forum this past Wednesday night, October 17, entitled, "Fixing the Global Economy: Austerity, Stimulus or What?". The Faulkner Gallery was filled to capacity with members of the Santa Barbara community. UCSB professor Benjamin Cohen and SBCC professor Peter Naylor presented varying views on how to ameliorate the world's declining economy. Former ABC News Foreign Correspondent, Sander Vanocur, moderated the event.

The two speakers presented their thoughts on moving the global economy forward. This was followed by a lively and interactive Q&A session facilitated by members of the audience.
