Hwy 154 Open

Date/Time: Wednesday, October 17 @ 9:40 am

Location: Both directions of Hwy. 154 have re-opened but COUNTY ROADS in the area including Painted Cave REMAIN CLOSED just north of Santa Barbara in the San Marcos Pass area. Expect slow traffic in the area.

Description of Incident:

The closure is due to a wildfire that broke out just before 8 am this morning. Motorists are advised to use U.S. Hwy. 101 as an alternate route in and out of Santa Barbara. .
