IV Shots Fired

During the early morning hours of October 14, 2012, Sheriff's Deputies responded to a report of a gun shot fired in the 6500 block of Sabado Tarde Road. When deputies arrived, they located multiple witnesses who stated an unknown suspect walking down the street became involved in a verbal argument with residents near an apartment building. Further investigation and interviews with the residents confirmed that a verbal argument had ensued with the suspect. The suspect brandished a chrome semi-automatic handgun towards the apartment building and fired one shot. Deputies searched the area and located (1) expended shell casing.

No one was injured as a result of the gunfire and the investigation in on-going.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 19-22 years old, 5'6", 150-170 lbs, wearing an "Oakland Raiders" hat, blue jeans, and a grey UCSB sweatshirt with blue writing outlined in yellow.
