1964: The Vietnam War was escalating, the first Ford Mustang rolled off the line, Beatlemania arrives in the U.S., Bewitched premiers on t.v., the Berkeley Free Speech Movement is born, Lyndon Johnson is re-elected, Goldfinger is a hit movie, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is signed into law; and in the idyllic seaside enclave of Summerland, it's always an endless summer...
