A. Wathey "Waes Hailing" in the wooded wonder of a verdant Western canopy with her ever faithful Canine (TakTani) on a quiet & restive jaunt in the wilderness weald of the Trinity Alps. This handsome lad is from the Arctic Regions of Nanook's backyard. When he's not getting bit by rattlesnakes or swallowing tennis balls, he's a happy, "jauncy" (jaunty & bouncy) fellow and loves the "weaker sex." He's full of fun, fun, fun, & the wonderful thing about TakTani is he's the only one.

I kinda prefer "the fair sex", or "the opposite sex" when talking of the other gender. Despite my abhorence with the pressure to be PC, I do find the reference to "the weaker sex" to be a bit outmoded in today's world.

Except "the opposite sex" is funny, whereas "the weaker sex" just makes me sigh.
