Cloud Watching
updated: Oct 11, 2012, 3:57 PM

By Dan Seibert

From the Biltmore to the harbor it's been a good day to watch the sky. Earlier this morning clouds were forming to the east, over the islands and mountains to the north. I stopped by the harbor for lunch and saw something red out on the pier. It's a two person submarine used to inspect underwater power cables. They had just finished their and were headed back to Vancouver. The clouds over the island looked like the perfect anvil thunderhead, while the ones above the SB fish market looked like something out of "Close Encounters."
