They really changed the orbit of the Dragon capsule from last night's predicted path for this evening, which was earlier and more W-E.

The ISS will be making evening passes for the next week. A decent one is Friday evening at 6:51-6:58 PM from SW to NE, this time more toward our mountain horizon. The sky will be brighter, and the ISS will be about as bright as it was tonight.

Yes, we saw it here in Lompoc... no clouds had moved in yet... as usual!
The last time we watched something chasing the ISS was when the shuttle was getting ready to dock with it.
Very cool to see.

Yes! Marvelous. I was not expecting to be able to see the Dragon- and then there it was! Fantastic!

I never get to see it. Does it move really fast across the sky? How big is it? I guess I have to find someone who has seen it and see it with them. :)

So cool! I called my children out of the house to see it go. An extraordinary experience for the whole family. My 10 year old daughter took a video with her small camera. School class right there. Minutes earlier we saw a light move in the same direction that seems it was not the Dragon capsule because we saw pass by the ISS and in its tail. What has that?

Was this last night (10/9) around 9 pm? What looked like a fireball meteor above SB heading NW over the mtns. (followed by a very loud "whsssh" sound in SY...)?

While we are out at night looking up to catch a glimpse of the ISS flying overhead, ISS cameras are looking at us. This 5-minute video shows the night view from the ISS. It includes a helpful narrative that identifies the areas in view. Watch closely – Santa Barbara goes by quickly and appears to be, as usual, fogged in.

Thank you, JoJoFlys for the video - nd the vocal descriptions. That is truly amazing!
