Something from 1990 is "vintage"?

Christ I'm getting old.

Not sure about this one. There have been a lot of cool old photos posted lately, but a 1990 postcard? I think that is still in print. And I don't see the relevance of an old advert for a company located in Thermal , CA which is closer to Mexico than it is to SB.

This inaccurate map is historically significant because it was the reason GPS was invented.

I think the cartoon map is cool! Except for the typo "La Cumbra Plaza". And officially: is it Ledbetter or Leadbetter?

The sign at the beach is spelled "Leadbetter", Nature Boy.

Nature Boy - Leadbetter Beach is named after Frederick and Caroline Leadbetter.

Is it just me, or does anyone else often see it spelled "Ledbetter"? Wikipedia even lists it as an alternate name.

Hilarious, 598P! Look at the blue roofed Miramar Hotel "Resort". Definitely vintage.

I see that Alex keg memory garden was not planted yet so I assume this is B.C.

Simple Nature Boy. Whomever spells it "Ledbetter" is wrong. And Wikipedia is not gospel.

329689 - The Miramar didn't close til the year 2000. Not THAT vintage.

651, Of course Wiki is not gospel. I was just pointing out that it's a common enough mis-spelling that Wiki even notes it.

Maybe Wiki needs to be corrected! It was named to honor a couple and their name should be correctly spelled.

Visiting Valerie Jean's was a highlight of every trip to Anza Borrego and Joshua Tree. Pink cactus shakes and luscious dates!

I like how the Greek Church is much further away than Goleta.
