What's up with the brownouts and power surges on the Upper East side the last week or so? Has anyone
else noticed these?

A friend had a new smart meter installed recently. On the first day of use, there were problems with electricity in the house. Edison went out the next day and fixed the problem. I don't know if it was the meter or the installation. So you might want to check your meter to see if it was changed.
