UCLA v. Cal

Anyone know a local SB bar and/or restaurant where tonight's UCLA-Cal can be seen on TV? I believe venue
would need Direct TV to get Pac12 Network feed.

You've got it backwards. Cox carries the Pac12 network, DirecTV does not. Most bars have DirecTV so that they can get the NFL package. You're more likely to have the game at home than see it at a bar.

Cox channel 286 is the Pac 12 Network, no HD yet, I hope that's something they're working on. Go Bruins!

As my distinguished son says to those poor souls down south: 'Get Your OWN Bear.'

I have Cox and get Pac 12 in HD just fine. It's on 1286. The annoying thing is the scoreboard is half off the screen and I don't like it zoomed to fix it.

To get PAC12 HD (1286) you have to rent an upgrade (more expensive) DVR. It is known as a "whole house" DVR but doesn't have to be set up as such. The PAC12 regular COX broadcast is 286 and the quality is very poor, esp if one zooms to make the broadcast fit the screen. Since this game is now over we can disclose that the Golden Bears pummeled their younger brothers in a big upset.

Ah yeah, I have the whole home DVR. It wasn't more expensive than the service I had before however.

They stole our song. They stole our colors. They stole our mascot. But they could not steal our victory. It was Bear Territory down to the last minute. Grrrrr....rah!
