Westar Project

There is a meeting tonight 6pm at 130 Cremona Drive, Suite B Goleta, California 93117
concerning the Westar Project-a new proposed development across from Costco on Hollister
There is nothing about this on their website so I called to confirm the time and place
We recently became aware of the Westar project. Not by the developers or our local government, but by
a concerned neighbor who was passing out flyers door to door. After reviewing The Westar project we
believe that is just too large for the area. We are already being impacted by 100's of units being built
nearby by UCSB. We hope and that you will consider the impact of over 1000 new cars every day at the
intersection of Stork and Hollister.. PLEASE look very carefully at what you are considering. The only
way we would ever even consider this huge development would be to include a southbound on ramp
and a northbound off ramp as part of it. This would greatly ease the impact on the Stork and Hollister
intersection.
Who is going to profit from this development? NOT the people who already live in the area and are
already dealing with increasing traffic due to development. This project is all rentals not owner
occupied.
