Body Surfing Injury. At 100 East Cabrillo the subject was unconscious, they are now conscious but reports
a neck injury and is numb from the neck down. Engine 2 on scene.

At 3:12 Friday afternoon, Santa Barbara City Fire dispatch was notified by beach-goers, that a swimmer was in distress on the beach, about 100 yards East of Stearns Wharf.

Engine 2 requested 4x4 from Harbor Patrol but they are out on another call Tide is comming up requesting back board ASAP...Scarey this sounds like the same injury I had back in 86..I hope the guy is ok. Sounds like Engine 5 is responding code 3..

Park Ranger showed up with 4-Wheel drive patient is loaded up need no other equitment, enough man power..Will he's going to be on his way shortly..Roger over and Out.
