Lobero LIVE and the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization are proud to present epicure.sb: As Seen on TV. Meet and eat with some of Santa Barbara’s celebrity chefs who have been featured on popular Food Network series Cupcake Wars and Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, alongside KEYT’s locally produced cooking series, The Inn Crowd with Chef Budi Kazali. Representing the creative cupcake competition, Cupcake Wars, is winner Alison Riede (Sugar Cat Studio), and travel-oriented series Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, are Grant and Kate MacNaughton (Mac’s Fish and Chip Shop) and Paul and Kathy Shields (Savoy Café & Deli.) This event is offered as part of epicure.sb, Santa Barbara’s month-long celebration of cuisine, libations and culture.
The $15 ticket provides an inside look at the chefs' experiences on and off camera during a viewing and Q&A led by Santa Barbara restaurateur, Mitchell Sjerven. Hear the inside scoop about doing each show, how being on television has affected their business and/or cooking-style, and find out what’s coming up next for these stars.
Afterward enjoy the evening’s tastiest portion—a reception in the Lobero Courtyard with each restaurant and beverages from Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co., Oreana Winery and Carr Winery.
