I have a nonfunctional, old Mantis rototiller. What is the best way to dispose of it?

If you drain all the fluids and dispose of them properly, sb metal may take it. You may also try the marborg recycling center. I use the one on David Love lane and would assume they would constitute it as mixed metals.

I've tried giving stuff like old AC parts to UCSB hazmat collection, but they told me once all the refrigerant was removed, it was basically safe to recycle as scrap metal. I'd assume this would be similar.

Lots of dudes love tinkering with old 2 strokes. You could probably get some bucks on CL, or have it hauled away for free at the least. Those were expensive!

We sold our nonworking rototiller and the gentlemen who bought it was delighted. He was a tinkerer who really knew how to work on old machines.
