I have a client coming to town that can not sleep in a bed, he needs a recliner.
Are there any hotel's in Santa Barbara area that has recliners in the room?

I'd choose whatever hotel would allow you to bring in your own recliner. I would rent the recliner from RTO (Rent To Own, by Ralphs on Hollister). I remember a few years ago Red Lion allowed my father-in-law to bring his own custom desk and chair in the room. It was no problem.

660, That isn't a residence inn. It's a Courtyard. The Residence Inn is still pending approval and will go in near the airport on Hollister.

According to an online review site, Extended Stay America in Goleta has recliners in their suites. I'd post a link but my entire post would be pulled. Using Google, I also found: Svendsgaard's Lodge in Solvang. Ramada Limited at Turnpike & Calle Real

Encina lodge across from the hospital has two in each room. Great accommodations.

Try the Pepper Tree Inn. My brother stayed there recently and they had a recliner in their room. http://www.bestwesternpeppertreeinn.com/
