Does anyone know of a support group in SB for chronic pain?

There's a Fibro group that meets monthly at the Sansum at Pesetas Lane. There's also some online support (eg. Facebook) but people there tend to be catty and unpredictable, not unlike here on Edhat.

Depends on the disease. I would also check with Arthritis Foundation of SB, which addresses many forms of degenerative diseases. 563-4685 Neuropathy? You need a dr. referral to somewhere. Rehab Institute knows what RSD is, among other conditions. They may be able to refer you to something useful. 569-8999 I empathize greatly -- I help care for a chronic pain sufferer. Surgi-centers? Anesthesiologist/pain docs? Is Karl Sandin or other pain docs still in town? Mozingo is at surgery center at De la Vina & State; the building in same parking lot as Trader joes. I like him. Ask his office. Good luck!
