TWO BIG EVENTS AT UC SANTA BARBARA MOVE-IN WEEKEND
5,577 students will be moving into residence halls at UCSB this weekend
for the start of the fall quarter of the 2012-13 academic year.
When :
All day on Saturday, September 22, and Sunday, September 23.
Saturday: San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Manzanita, Santa Catalina Halls.
Sunday: Anacapa, San Nicolas, Santa Cruz, San Rafael, Santa Catalina Halls.

CONVOCATION
About 5,000 freshman and transfer students are expected to attend
this ceremonial induction into UCSB.
When :
Monday, September 24, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Faculty Club Green
What :
The ceremony will include Chancellor Henry T. Yang and other campus leaders in full academic regalía.
Kathy Foltz, associate professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular &
Developmental Biology, will be the keynote speaker`
