Water Main Breaks on Storke Road; Southbound Lane Closed for Next Three Days

Goleta, CA - A water main broke earlier this morning on Storke Road between Whittier Drive and El Colegio Road. Goleta Water District is on site to repair the problem. The SOUTHBOUND lane of Storke Road between Whittier Drive and El Colegio Road has been closed. Traffic will be detoured to Los Carneros. The closure is expected to last up to three days while crews make the repairs. The northbound lane will remain open. Please exercise caution when driving, walking and biking in this area.
