One is a Plumeria, usually seen in Hawaii and other tropical places. The
other is a Christmas Cactus, which usually blooms in December and supposedly
reacts to shorter days. Could it be that morning fog shortens the days, and
the recent tropical weather caused these to bloom simultaneously - OR - is
it our climate that has become confused???
