Vinyl Banners

Need referral for vinyl banners (with grommets) produced locally. If you had this
done (for soccer or otherwise) lately either locally or online, please indicate
the size and price for comparison purposes. We would love to find a local printer
who would offer a discount or sponsorship to a non-profit (elementary school).

Sorry, but I cannot think of a single sign business that can afford to give any discounts to anyone. May I suggest that if your school is a public elementary school you go to the teachers and ask them to contribute money for the full non-discount costs of the sign.

I am good friends with Brendan Mackey, who lives in the Carpinteria area and owns Emerson USA Inc., "California's Flag Company". He has made banners and flags for me in the past and they are excellent. Be advised that the banner signs you're looking for are illegal in the city of SB. Expect a fine if you're reported. If your selected supplier does not advise you of this he/she is thinking first of profit, not your satisfaction. All of the local sign makers know the law. Your non-profit status will not exempt you. It's a beautiful town, in part because of a fairly strict sign ordinance.

Except GBOB in the request they mentioned soccer and an elementary school, usually they just use those during the tournament or on the match day. Not going to run into any sign ordinance problems there.
Now a business looking to promote something, yes they should be warned.

321451 - GBOB is technically correct, such a banner would be in violation of the ordinance, if the school is within city limits. But no one would ever call to complain. So go ahead and get your banner.

Nope 536, the banner would have to be in public view and attached to a structure to even come close to the ordinance. A banner held or displayed on a school field, not a problem. With anyone. Ever.
GBOB is being a tad over zealous.
