State Street Plumbing Problems

Just wanted to inform readers that there's some big sewer backup/pipe burst
affecting the 400 and 500 block of State Street.
Several businesses have the water shut off, including Starbucks at State and Cota.

As our infrastructure ages, more and more of our city budgets will be going into O&M activities instead of boldly creating new programs. I wonder what the City's infrastructure replacement plan looks like?

blocks of Olive Street smelled especially stinky Sunday. Perhaps the sewage blockage started there?
