Our Lady of Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe is depicted here on the side of a building at 19 East Micheltorena, between Trinity Episcopal Church and Notre Dame School (right across the street from the Yoga Studio). The building belongs to Our Lady of Sorrows Church. It used to be a convent. Today it is office space. Two of the offices are rented to Providence Hall, a Christian high school.

Wikipedia tells us, "Our Lady of Guadalupe, also called the Virgin of Guadalupe, is a 16th century Roman Catholic icon depicting an apparition of the Virgin Mary. It is Mexico's most beloved religious and cultural image."
