Are you smarter than a 5th grader? Well, every 5th grader at Roosevelt Elementary School knows about the secret passageway that connects the 400 block of East Padre (the road next to the school) with Plaza Rubio (the road next to the Rose Garden). The picture shown for March Edness yesterday was taken on East Padre. Maybe it looks like this is an entryway to someone's backyard. You may not feel like the smartest kid on the block, but if you venture down this less-traveled path, you will soon find yourself on the other side of it.
