Bone Marrow Drive for Stephanie Waxman

On Friday, July 27, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we will be holding a local bone marrow drive with the hope of finding a bone marrow match for Stephanie Waxman, a local Santa Barbara native.

Friends, family, and supporters across the country are hosting bone marrow drives like this one and encouraging all who are qualified to join the National Bone Marrow Registry in an all-out effort to find an immediate match for Stephanie Waxman who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Leukemia the last week of June.

With just a simple cheek swab, entering the registry is a simple and pain-free process. For eligibility requirements please visit www.marrow.org.

Location of drive: 55 Castilian Drive, Goleta, CA (the Goleta Business Park)

Those unable to attend this event on behalf of Stephanie are encouraged to join the registry by requesting a kit by mail (www.marrow.org) or call the Santa Barbara Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's office at 805.884.1886.
