Nothing Like Chocolate Film Screening
Wednesday May 30, 2012
05:30 PM
"NOTHING LIKE CHOCOLATE" will be shown on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 5:30 pm, at the Unitarian Society (1535 Santa Barbara Street), as a benefit for The Sustainability Project, a 501c-3 non-profit organization. A Q&A with filmmaker Kum-Kum Bhavnani will follow the film, along with a chocolate tasting generously provided by Chocolate Maya. "NOTHING LIKE CHOCOLATE", which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, tells the compelling story of Mott Green, founder of the Grenada Chocolate Company. He has created an innovative alternative in an industry immersed in enslaved child labor, irresponsible corporate greed, and tasteless synthetic products. (Film length: 63 min) Tickets are available online or at the door, $10 suggested donation. Event seating is limited to 100 and expected to sell out.
