Join us for an evening of presentation and discussion with Dr. Brad Chmelka, UCSB Professor of Chemical Engineering and faculty researcher at the Materials Research Lab, whose research in nanotechnology explores new materials for energy conversion (think batteries, fuel cells). Introduction by Dr. Rich Appelbaum, CNS Co-PI and Professor of Sociology and Global Studies.
