Injury traffic accident south of Los Alamos

County firefighters extricated the victim of a single vehicle rollover that took place Thursday afternoon on northbound 101, 1 mile south of Los Alamos.

The car landed on its roof after the accident and fire personnel had to use the Jaws of Life to get the victim out. They were transported to a local hospital.

A second accident took place as a result of the first accident, but it was non-injury.
