Well hello all, it's me again. I guess I might have been wrong about the Lillian Childs thing. Oh well. I got two good excuses I'm originally from the Chicago area, (not here) Never mind I've lived here almost 30 years. And I'm not running for city, or county office so leave me alone! I always feel to need to make excuses for my behavior, or why I'm different than others but I won't apologize for it. It would probably just be best to say we are pretty much here for the same reason, to in one way or another take back our town. As far as my paragraph the other day about the homeless, I have been there I've said it before I might again. I met some wonderful people out there that had less than I but much more wealth in their hearts than I could ever possess, and seeing that changed my life. I have compassion. One person commented that if I thought of the homeless as scapegoats why do they commit more crimes according to my reports of course? And then someone else commented that their crimes as less severe basically that most of their crimes have to do with panhandling, and sleeping under the stars, and having a beer in the wrong place, of course other people can get away with having a beer there. Ross Stiles was a scapegoat he hung out down down there and he didn't bother no one but he got murdered anyway. I guess were all just different but here for the same reasons in one way or the other. WHAT THE HELL!?
"En route to the Morgue." Was the first thing I heard Monday when I turned on my scanner. But I don't think it had anything to do with CSI for a "Hit and Run." I think that happened at State and Mason and a little later on. There was a medical emergency for a man in pain, in so much pain he could not get out of his chair, that was in the 1000 block of East Canon Perdido, Somewhere in the County was a suicidal pregnant woman and the Sheriffs were really looking for her. There was a package stolen from a car in Carpinteria but recovered by the Sheriffs later and a ‘Be On The Lookout’ for a felony "Hit and Run" from State and Mason. She was 45ish 5'8 brown hair and brown eyes, I missed the rest. There was a wrong way driver on West Figueroa with Oregon plates, a 415 Domestic on San Pasqual, two code 40 fellas one a drunk driver in a black Mercedes in the Vons Parking lot on Coast Village Road. That's all I wrote for Monday.
Tuesday: First thing in the Morning 4500 block of Carpinteria Avenue, A 5150 female in a nightgown running up and down the block yelling, "Fire! Fire! Fire!" They were on their way. In the 500 block of West Victoria a burglary in the laundry room of some apartments in that block, laundries have been getting hit lately, I have heard of several burglaries in the city and the County.
There was a woman code 40 at the Sober center who was no longer welcome there, neither am I. At Los Canoas and Cathedral Oaks there was a bicyclist hit by a "Hit and Run" driver in a Toyota Tundra, on the scanner they said it was non-injury but in the News Suppressed they had a picture of the victim going to the hospital, there was a mention of Marc McGinnis on Cold Spring Arch Bridge with a photographer, County Station 44 kept putting out a BOL on a stolen Honda Civic, there was a road rage incident involving a woman driving a red 4-runner dropping one of her kids off at Adams School, the other in a child safety seat but still she drove recklessly onto 101 northbound, and the person reporting her in a VW Bug.
A medical emergency for someone having seizures in the 3900 block of State, transients harassing customers at the East Beach Bath House restaurant "The Grill" sitting on the steps with a case of beer, but not for long. During a 415 Domestic a man barricaded himself inside a condemned home in Santa Maria, sounds like they were both condemned as a few moments later the man was in custody. There was a a fall victim on Schoolhouse Road, a fall victim in the street 818 N. Salsipudes, a domestic violence suspect jumping out a back window of a home on Elm in Carpinteria and getting away for a little while, on San Ysidro there was another bicyclist down, a few moments later another bicyclist down on Jameson, on Tronto Road a woman was screaming "Please don't hurt me. Please don't kill me." Pleading for her life, while a drunk driver was tearing up State Street. There was a man bleeding from his face walking around Carpinteria and Milpas here in town and an illegal camper on 800 Cacique seems almost impossible doesn't it?
A man refusing to leave KFC, gone when police arrived he was found in front of Subway, no doubt where he planned his next stand. A male carrying a child with what looked like a towel on his head in the first block of Canon Perdido, the police found both father and child in the 800 block of Olive and there was a blanket wrapped around the child. An elder assist up off the floor, a 242 assault reported in the parking lot of The Habit, 200 South Milpas Street, a check the welfare of a man down 600 block State Street.
Some guy having a "temper tantrum" on the 1500 block of East Camino Cielo 415 temper tantrum. First block West Arrellega medical emergency seizures. Suspicious subject loitering around 421 De La Vina all day just hanging out, there's gotta be something seriously wrong with someone that just hangs out for no apparent reason. Then of course the wrong way driver on 101. It amazes me how much that has happened in just the past couple months. People really need to be slammed for a wake up call. Lose everything basically that's what happens to victims of drunk drivers. Well see you on Friday, Roger
