Another Wrong Way Driver on Hwy 101 N
updated: Nov 29, 2009, 10:13 AM

Submitted to Edhat

Around 12:00 am Sunday morning on highway 101 North we passed a wrong-way driver going south in the left-most northbound lane. We were forced to swerve lanes to the right to avoid a head on collision. This occurred just south of the State Beaches exit about 15 miles south of Carpinteria.

We pulled over at the next callbox to report the incident, and was able to connect to someone, but she lost the ability to hear us talking. Something went awry with the connection and after initially reporting the driver, she was unable to hear us talking and we were forced to abandon the callbox and find cell phone reception instead.

Hopefully no one will be injured, and something needs to be done about these idiots.
