Bridge not out, its gone altogether

The bridge at Stevens Park is gone. What happened to it? Are they going to build a new one?

wasn't this due to the debris barrier first reported on "citizen's news" on Nov. 17th by Edhat?

Here is a link to the comments thread from the Nov. 17 post. here. In it, a commenter indicates the removal of the bridge is temporary.

The bridge was removed at the request (order) of the Flood Control District. Last I saw, it was in the parking lot. It will be replaced after one or two rain cycles. The debris barrier is above the park on the other side of the bridge.

People kept jumping off of it they removed it and put in a barrier.
