Wanted: Metal Spoons

Empty Bowls 2009, the benefit for the Foodbank held last weekend was a phenomenal success. Working toward a more "green " event for 2010, the committee is collecting metal soup spoons to use instead of disposable plastic. The first 125 spoons are in our collection already! If you have extra metal soup spoons, please drop them off at 531 Chapala Street, there's a "spoon drop" there until December 20th. Or telephone 729-0114 if you have a large number of them, and need me to pick them up. Thank you for your consideration.
